چکیده

BL-5C is an in-vacuum undulator beamline dedicated to macromolecular crystallography (MX) at the 3 GeV Pohang Light Source II in Korea. The delivers X-ray beams with a focal spot size of 200 µm × 40 (FWHM, H V) over energy range 6.5–16.5 keV. measured flux 7 10 11 photons s −1 12.659 keV through aperture 50 µm. experimental station newly equipped photon-counting detector EIGER 9M, multi-axis micro-diffractometer MD2, and robotic sample changer high-capacity dewar. These instruments enable operation this as automated MX specialized fragment screening. This can collect more than 400 data sets day without human intervention, difference map be automatically calculated by using processing pipeline for ligand or identification.

Improvements toward highly accurate diffraction experiments at the macromolecular micro-crystallography beamline BL-17A

BL-17A is a macromolecular crystallography beamline dedicated to diffraction experiments conducted using micro-crystals and structure determination studies using a lower energy X-ray beam. In these experiments, highly accurate diffraction intensity measurements are definitively important. Since this beamline was constructed, the beamline apparatus has been improved in several ways to enable the...

Macromolecular crystallography beamline X25 at the NSLS

Beamline X25 at the NSLS is one of the five beamlines dedicated to macromolecular crystallography operated by the Brookhaven National Laboratory Macromolecular Crystallography Research Resource group. This mini-gap insertion-device beamline has seen constant upgrades for the last seven years in order to achieve mini-beam capability down to 20 µm × 20 µm. All major components beginning with the ...

The Materials Science beamline upgrade at the Swiss Light Source

The Materials Science beamline at the Swiss Light Source has been operational since 2001. In late 2010, the original wiggler source was replaced with a novel insertion device, which allows unprecedented access to high photon energies from an undulator installed in a medium-energy storage ring. In order to best exploit the increased brilliance of this new source, the entire front-end and optics ...

ID29: a high-intensity highly automated ESRF beamline for macromolecular crystallography experiments exploiting anomalous scattering.

ID29 is an ESRF undulator beamline with a routinely accessible energy range of between 20.0 keV and 6.0 keV (λ = 0.62 Å to 2.07 Å) dedicated to the use of anomalous dispersion techniques in macromolecular crystallography. Since the beamline was first commissioned in 2001, ID29 has, in order to provide an improved service to both its academic and proprietary users, been the subject of almost con...

Top-up operation at Pohang Light Source-II.

After three years of upgrading work, PLS-II (S. Shin, Commissioning of the PLS-II, JINST, January 2013) is now successfully operating. The top-up operation of the 3 GeV linear accelerator had to be delayed because of some challenges encountered, and PLS-II was run in decay mode at the beginning in March 2012. The main difficulties encountered in the top-up operation of PLS-II are different leve...
